Flop vaudeville performer Len Carmody is adopted by Kelly, a trained dog abandoned by Malo's dog act. When Kelly joins Len's ho-hum song and dance, a popular comedy act is born. On the train, Len meets young Mina Van Runkel, daughter of a movie producer in desperate need of new talent (it's 1930). Successful in making "dog pictures," can Len stand being second banana to Kelly? Complications: a pallid romantic triangle...and the reappearance of Kelly's original owner.
The Amazing Colossal Man (1957) as Richard Kingman
Lt. Col. Glenn Manning is inadvertently exposed to a plutonium bomb blast at Camp Desert Rock. Though burned over 90% of his body, he survives, and begins to grow in size. As he grows, his heart and circulatory system fail to keep pace with his growth, and he is gradually losing his mind as a result of reduced blood supply to his brain. He reaches 50 feet tall before his growth is stopped. By this time he has become insane. He escapes and wreaks havoc upon Las Vegas before he is finally stopped.

A teenage couple making out in the woods accidentally runs over an alien creature with their car. Meanwhile, Joe the town drunk wants to store the body in his refrigerator, but some of the alien's buddies inject alcohol into his system, and Joe dies of an overdose.
It Conquered the World (1956) as Brig. Gen. James Pattick
One of several remaining members of its race, an alien from Venus is guided to Earth by disgruntled scientist Tom Anderson, who tells it which humans it should attach mind control devices to. Among them is his old friend, fellow scientist Paul Nelson. Nelson, after killing a flying bat-thing which carries the device, finally persuades the paranoid Anderson that he's been wrong to ally himself with an alien bent on world domination. They hurriedly leave when they discover Tom's wife has picked up a rifle and gone to the alien's cave to try to kill it.
