Born into a creative family, actor Michael Bowen has had a career full of interesting characters. He made his debut in 1982, but it wasn't until the '90s that he began to receive substantial roles. He played outlaw Clyde Barrow's brother Buck in the TV movie "Bonnie & Clyde: The True Story" in 1992, followed by the role of Earl Parkins in 1996's "True Crime," starring Alicia Silverstone. The following year, Bowen made his first film with auteur director Quentin Tarantino. Bowen was cast as Mark Dargus in Tarantino's blaxploitation homage "Jackie Brown," starring Pam Grier. With increased exposure, he landed the role of Rick Spector in the mega-star-studded "Magnolia," written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. Bowen's next project with Tarantino was 2003's "Kill Bill: Vol.1." He was cast as Buck, the pervert who uses Uma Thurman's comatose body for sex. Continuing to build momentum, Bowen was cast in the action flicks "Walking Tall" and "After the Sunset," the latter starring Pierce Brosnan, Salma Hayek, Woody Harrelson, and Don Cheadle. On television Bowen has had recurring roles on the cult thriller "Lost" and the comedy "Scoundrels."
