Jack Daly was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Daly began his acting career with roles in such films as the action movie "Badman's Gold" (1951) with Johnny Carpenter, the drama "Pickup" (1951) with Hugo Haas and the western "Law and Order" (1953) with Ronald Reagan. He also appeared in the horror feature "Phantom From Space" (1953) with Ted Cooper and the Peter Graves horror film "Killers From Space" (1954). He continued to act in productions like the comedy "Abbott and Costello Meet the Keystone Cops" (1955) with Bud Abbott, the Dan Dailey musical "Meet Me in Las Vegas" (1956) and the Humphrey Bogart drama "The Harder They Fall" (1956). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Raintree County" (1957) with Montgomery Clift. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the James Stewart biopic "The Spirit of St. Louis" (1957), the Cary Grant thrilling mystery "North By Northwest" (1959) and "Return of the Fly" (1959). He also appeared in "Dear Brigitte" (1965) with James Stewart. Daly was most recently credited in the suspenseful adaptation "The Island of Dr. Moreau" (1996) with Marlon Brando. Daly passed away in June 1968 at the age of 54.
