What a truly despicable band of cutthroats led by Baz.Glad the lady toughens up and gets wise before the end of her!Didn't care as much for remake.

Truly cautionary tale for those trusting souls and working on someone's sympathies to gain control of one's fortunes.Truly despicable gang, thank goodness for the kind lady's family and friends.Love this and IT HAPPENED ON FIFTH AVENUE for Christmas feel, even this is the opposite type of movie.Well acted and well recommended.

When down on their luck comrades of Basil's decide to move in and terrorize a "Kind Lady",we get to see a great cast in action (and during Christmas Season no less!).Rathbone a real rotter here, horrifying band of goons.Enjoy a truly well-done film
