  • Where to get?

    • The Doctor
    • 8/5/12

Why is this nowhere to be found? If no dvd, it should be online, it's WAY old enough to be in public domain.

  • This Classic Western on DVD.

I quite agree. This western deserves to be on DVD. I like Wallace Beery.

  • This classic western should be on Home Video!!

This is a very important film in the development of the Western film genre. If it were on Home DVD, no serious collection of early Western movies could be respectable without it. IMHO, it's on the same level as The Big Trail, from the same year. It's greatest virtue is the authentic look of many of it's background characters & sets; it truly captures the atmosphere & feel of the late 19th century southwest. This is very important Western Americana. It's also an early sound-film appearance of one of the great film actors of the 30s, Wallace Berry, and an important director, King Vidor.Classics like this should be more available.
