  • NICE SEX COMEDY WITHOUT SEX!

No doubt "Ten Thousand Bedrooms" was the ideal vehicle to launch Dean Martin as a film leading man after his partnership with Jerry Lewis ended. This is the beginning of a screen persona that would develop through the years into the charming, partying, playboy who charms the ladies with his devil-may-care attitude and a beautiful song. There are plenty of ladies and plenty of songs in this colorful sex comedy but in spite of the title and the "come on" teaser from a sexy model in bed, the movie is as clean as Perrier. Ana Maria Alberghetti is refreshingly youthful as the girl who's after Dino and even gets to sing. However it is Eva Bartok who manages to give the best performance while looking absolutely ravishing. The Roman locale also helps. Make sure you watch it in widescreen.

A light-hearted romantic comedy set in the beautiful scenery of Rome, Italy near the Forum. There is no violence, sex or bad language. Dean sings beautifully and refreshing, very nice.
