Mrs. Cameron ends her affair with Ronnie Sears following a visit to his apartment. She had been summoned there by Ronnie's roommate, Blake, who intends to blackmail her with a packet of letters she wrote to Ronnie. Ronnie arrives and is killed during a quarrel with Blake. Mr. Cameron follows his wife to the apartment and is arrested for Ronnie's murder, but Mrs. Cameron obtains Blake's confession before he falls to his death from an open window.
