MGM groomed George Peppard to worldwide International Stardom with hit movies such as Vincente Minnel's brilliant Home From The Hill, the all star How The West Was Won, loanouts for The Victors, Breakfast At Tiffany'sand The Carpetbaggers, and his finale at MGM Operation Crossbow. Peppard reached the heights of film stardom in The Blue Max an exciting 20th Century Fox film co starring James Mason, and beautiful Ursula Andress.

ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIES. THIS MOVIE BRINGS BACK MEMORIES AS THE ONLY MOVIE I SAW WITH MY FATHER. AFTER NOT SEEING THIS MOVIE FOR 20 PLUS YEARS AND FINALLY SEING IT AGAIN WAS A JOY, GEORGE PEPPARD AND URSULAR ANDRESS WAS OUTSTANDING. I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS MOVIE AS A MUST IF YOUR A MOVIE BUFF LIKE ME. THANKS FOR THE MOMORIES.

In my opinion, The Blue Max is one of the best flying movies ever made. As far as WWI flying movies, there just aren't any good ones out there. Yes, Fly Boys was made a few years ago, but although a good effort, the flying scenes were nothing more than computer enhanced video game nonsense. I absolutely loved the "real" flying scenes in the Blue Max, and the characters were indeed memorable. Thank-You
