    The movie premiere was in Sedalia, Missouri, not in Kansas.

    Why aren't these good family movies out on DVD. Our familywatched this film together everytime it was shown on TV. Whatfun it would be to watch it together again now that we are allgrandparents!!! All good performances by good actors!!

    This is a light hearted movie about a young man and a pair of mules. It runs along the line about a boy and his dog. Its funny and its sad at times but a very good movie to watch on a Sunday afternoon. Hopefully TCM will show it soon. Thanks Winnie Wilson

    I just saw it on dvd for sale at Videoretro for $15 plus shipping. I have not ordered it yet so don'tknow if the site is safe or if the quality of the dvd is good or not.We have been looking for this moviefor a long time and this is the first time I have seen a dvd offered. 9/22/07
